The scary part is that they've not even played all that badly, except on the PP which was godawful. They've limited the Flyers' scoring chances something fierce and generated a few good ones of their own. The problem is that they can't put it in and the Flyers do every chance they get.

I mean, THREE POSTS! In one period!

Price is slumping right now, and he's just not used to not getting a whole lot of shots.

I don't know what to say. Except for Price stopping the puck more and the Habs shooting a couple of inches more this or that way, I'm not sure what they can adjust, if anything.

It's a slump. It's a godawful time to have one, but there you go.

Good learning experience for the kids though, one hopes.

Bring in Halak, this game would still be 0-0 if Price was awake!
Time to send a message!

yeah Carey def needs to be better then this

cant let these bad goals in.

I dunno what's wrong with his glove hand though...Philly is shooting there at every chance they get...they got a bunch of goals that way too.

But the forwards are really sucking. The only line that has done anything is the Koivu line.

They need to be going to the front of the net and taking shots. Too many fancy doodling plays. That's not gonna cut it.

the Flyers are just taking shots from everywhere and well...they're going in...

Put the puck on net. Keep doing it. Even if they lose the game. keep getting chances.

Let's make it a Carey Price thing if you want but the score is 3 to 0.

I'm not going to fault Price on more than one of those goals. Thing is the pressure has to pick up and the mistakes by everybody drop.. Biron is having his little hot stretch but the Habs are helping by not screening.

Score 1 and see what happens

**** it! Halak goes in. Tell them to go out there and give them hell for a period. Get in front of Biron and make his life miserable. Hit everything you see. And just try to get a freakin goal....any goal...garbage or otherwise...

You mean that offensive powerhouse machine that were the Bruins?

Actually if Koivu doesn't comeback, who said we would have won that series?

While Price was good in that series, I'm actually not living in the past and I'm stating that he's not ready to make the difference IN THAT SERIES. Maybe that's the problem, too many players are satisfied with that 1st round....

I have a feeling the whole board will get crazy.

This could be over, could be not. Just give a honest effort on the third period and sending a message for the next game.

Lets not go crazy. Flyers are extremely lucky, and Habs are extremely unlucky.

I believe this team will bounce back, if not this game, it will be next game. I know people will press the panic button but guys, cmon, we are way better than that. Believe!!!

You're right, they're not willing us like Boston. And that's what makes this so depressing. We're not cut out to handle physicality. Add some skill in and we're toasted real good like this game. The warts of this team are being exposed. And yet, Price is the goat? Bull. He won us the Boston series and now he's the reason we won't beat Philly? Media priorities are all wrong, it's the rest of the team that's really incompetent.

The refs also forgot their whistles in the locker room between periods. There were a half-dozen non-calls in that 2nd.

have the Flyers even had a scoring chance all game? The only one I can think of was the Prospal miss

Habs have nobody to blame but themselves. They had a 5-3 plus other powerplays and did nothing with them. The powerplay is beyond brutal and they can't score even on even man. There are a lot of questions marks on this team right now. A lot of underachievers and they been playing like a beat'n tean for quite a while now.

SKost is trying but he's waaaaay to fancy, Higgins can't score for his life (what's new) and the D looks slow and uninterested

well, it looks like it does... Since game 1 and we're heading into the 3rd period of game 3.

This game is over, let's be serious for a second. Biron is way too strong and this series is 2-1 for the Flyers, and they have another game at home in two day. Yeah, it sure looks like a great situation.
