The real question is: How many powerplay chances are we going to waste?

Answer: Enough.

People don't remember how the game was played... only the final results. Hope they can forget about what happened in game 1,2 and the first 2 periods of this game. They win the first half of the 3rd period, they're back in the game. Oh yeah, for all the people who thinks the game is over, well, you can watch something else tonight...

deserves credit yes, deserves the win? I dont know.
in the first period alone we hit 3 posts, missed one breakaway and fanned on an open net.

You don't win on posts, missed breakaways and fanning on opened nets.

Does Biron deserve a lot of credit? I think that right now people are overrating him since he's getting beat a lot but we can't capitalize and because a lot of the saves he makes are easy to make.

He's made a couple of good saves but what's killing this Habs team is the lack of finishing and the weird mentality that it's ok to play in the first and last 10 minutes of a 60 minutes game.

Biron is just lucky that our forwards are squeezing the Sherwood too tight and missing all those chances...

But he's also been fortunate and, I think, we're making him look better than he's playing. But as they say, you have to be good to be lucky.

Nevertheless, he's made the key saves at the right time. So yeah, credit where credit is due. But I don't feel he's Brodeur like or anything - we can definitely light him up...and I think we will one of these games.

Well if those shots ended up in net instead of on post we wouldnt be talking about those missed PP opportunities.
One goes with the other.

Even with our lack of success on PP, we're still out playing the Flyers IMO. They're not getting more chances than us.
You're not supposed to win a game when you shoot 14times.

Biron is the only reason the Flyers have a 2-1 lead.

I disagree, the Canadiens are the reason the Flyers have a 2-1 lead, in my honest opinion they have been beating themselves by making some brutal decisions, having inconsistent goaltending and not capatilizing on scoring opportunities.

6 posts, a couple missed breakaways, 1 missed open net. We are not getting the bounces AT ALL!!! The puck will bounce over a stick or it will hit the post and onto a Flyers stick instead of a Habs stick....just little stuff like that is all that is deciding the series right now.

People are saying that Biron is playing awesome....no he isn't....he just isn't getting good quality shots taken at him. I'm not taking anything away from Biron, he is getting the job done, but he hasn't had to make a tough save yet in the series. He is never screened, he sees every shot and therefore he is always in position to make easy saves.

We have to start working harder and making sure we finish our plays....once we work a little harder and play a little tougher, we'll start getting the bounces we need....and once that starts to happen along with the amount of shots we are getting already....we'll pound the Flyers into the ground.
