the team cannot score, i do not understand why guy wont tell the second best goal scorer on the team to go out and just score goals like he did before and not worry about playing defensively and stuff. Im sure if he was told that his role is to score goals and nothing else, he would play fairly well.

scratch Yappy Lappy and put Ryder on a line with Streit which is centered by Pleks, Koivu, and Smolinski all throughout the game (the 4th line barely plays, it wouldn't really make these guys too much more tired...except Koivu maybe)
Might bring some jam to the 3rd line. Streit has been terrible on the forcheck chasing dumpins. Always peels off and the flyers get it out.
Sit Streit, he really looks like he needs a rest and to re-evaluate his game. A night in the pressbox could help him realize this isn't the swiss league and he needs to give everything to win the big show, the ultimate hockey prize. Not just getting team swiss to the quarter-finals of the olympics is a glorious achievement.

Two lines out of sync with little to no offensive talent on either.
Dress Grabs with Ryder and Lats, play them 8 minutes...I bet you see more from them in 8 minutes than you saw from Dandy, Lappy and Streit in 10 games.
and he's supposed to replace who ? latendresse is the only player who could be replaced IMO... but ryder has even less goals than latendresse... so, i doubt it would be a good decision.

We did not lose because of the third and fourth lines tonight. We lost because the PP early on could not adjust to the Flyers.

Yes, I think that you've nailed it on the head. CH didn't have the energy that Begin, Smoke and Kosto brought to earlier games.
If Lats' won't go in front of the goalie and take the punishement, then sit his fat ass down!
Put Ryder in. Pleks is still playing like a little girl and if he's gonna be like that, I would put Ryder in ahead of Pleks, and the Kosties.
It doesn't matter very much how talented you are in the playoff but more how much you are willing to sacrifice...and none of the above guys have shown tonight that they are willing to do whatever it takes to win.

why? What has Streit done aside from being a bumbling idiot on the PP and not forechecking as a forward.
