A couple of positives...

1-Gorges, who was captain of his team in Kelowna (), had a really good game last night, I think.
2-Latendresse and Lapierre were not completely ineffective.
3-Koivu! Nuff said.
4-Someone else said it a couple of nights ago, but I think it bears repeating:
"Hatcher, lolz."
So simple, so poetic.
5-Higgins has hit the posts and Biron's pads so many times in this series that he's due for a two-goal game.

Feel free to add. There's a venting thread for anyone who has nothing good to say.

-When Downie tripped Price, Lapierre went right after him, gloves off.

-Halak played well; always good to know your backup can step in capably if he needs to.

-It bears repeating: Hatcher, lolz.

Another positive; we are playing very well defensively.

-14 shots yesterday

-23 on saturday

-Very few scoring chances

-Most of the goals against were not result of mistakes but mostly bad luck and questionable goaltending

Just keep grinding and we should win this series.

The Canadiens have not been playing overly poor but have not played their best. The Flyers have got a few breaks. In a long series, things even out for teams that can stay focused and the best team usually wins. The Habs did not have a lengthy losing streak all season so there's no reason they won't snap out of their mini-funk. We're going to see what Price is made of the rest of this series and my money says we're going to like it.

-More goal posts then Flyers have scored.
-Kosto hasn't let up on his game.
-Lats was a good addition to the line up
-Gorges had another solid night.
-Halak showed he's ready when the call comes.

-repeats. Hatcher, lolz

How did Halak do that?
O.K, he made a beautiful save but he got TWO shots. TWO!!

You dont show nothing on 2 shots.

Dont get me wrong, I truly believe in Halak just as much as I do in Price, but stopping 2 shots in 20 minutes, he didnt proove anything.

He actually stopped two shots in a month, but tomato, tomato.

I actually thought he would, like, cry or something.

Ya, he didn't show us too much, but he played the puck well, and did make a big stop coming in cold.
