Game #4 - Goalie situation undecided (per Habs I/O & RDS), Price to start (per NHL)

Carbonneau admitted Price, who has allowed 10 goals on 68 shots (.871 save percentage) in this series, will be back in net for Game 4 tomorrow night.

I don't agree with the decision, but I believe in Price 100%.

GO PRICE GO!

He needs to know how to handle pressure and bounce back in the NHL.

He'll be fine. And majority of the goals he's let in were not his fault as he is constantly screened.

Live by the Price, die by the Price. Good luck to him, and God save the Habs.

I have no problem with this decision....its up to Price to turn things around now. He has played poorly this whole series, time for him to make up for that and turn things around.

If he bobbles the puck or lets in a weak goal without making a couple of good saves early in the game....he should get the hook and let Halak go the rest of the way. Because if Price is rattled....there is no sense keeping him in the net. Give him a break and let him get some confidence back.

Of course...he was 'responsible' for only 1 goal in yesterday's game and that on goal was caused by very poor Defense and horrible man coverage.

When everyone was a little rattled in Game 7 against the Bruins, Price was rock solid. He needs to get back in the zone because if we go down 3-1 we a re done like dinner.

As much as I'd like to see Price rested for at least one game, we'll live and die with Price in net.

I kinda wanted to see Halak in nets, but I agree with you all: we ride together, we die together, bad boys for life.

Let's hope that benching in the 3rd period was a wake up call because we need him to play like he is capable of.

I am totally confident in Price, the Habs, Carbonneau's coaching decisions and the Flyers inability to go far in the playoffs.

Go Habs Go

Go Price Go

If Price stinks it up again, they got to go with Halak then. Wy live and die by Price, when Halak is just as capable?

Would have been surprised if Carbo didn't go back to Price.

Putting Price back in is the right move.

I hope 2 things have happened from last night
(1) It might have done Price some good to sit in the 3rd, watch the game, soak in the atmosphere. Might help for game #4
(2) That Price goes back to the videotape. I think he might be back in the crease a little too much.

Regardless, the right decision imo.

As others have said...we live and die with Price. He hasn't looked his best this series...but I am confident he is gonna come out with his best in game 4. Go Price go and go Habs go!!! We will win this series in 6. Philly has been dominated in 3 straight games and lady luck has run out.

I knew Carbo would send him back and i think its the right decision. You have to give him a chance to get out his struggle. Right now hes like a tennis player who has won his first 2 sets but lost his next two. Confidence is low but he needs to find a way refocus and forget the last sets. Champions always find a way to win that last set, lets see if Price has it in him.

Tomorrow is the most important game of the series. Either we go down 1-3 or we tie the series. We need nothing less than a shutout from Carey Price.
Go Carey

This is the right decision.

That said, if he has another bad game then you go to Halak in game 5....

But Price will come up huge... I BELIEVE.

That was the only way to go IMO. It doesnt help when your team can seem to find the end of the net....you are constantly on your nerves.

Price all the way.
