Thought I'd bump this:

Landon Wilson has now played a game with Dallas, eliminating Fistric, Niskanen, and whoever else is on Dallas.

Sillinger has now played a game for the Islanders after his injury ended, so now he's played directly with Mark Streit who has played with most Canadiens young players.

Not sure who that leaves on the Habs. Eliminates Price, S Kostitsyn, and whoever else from last season.

If you don't want to include Gordie's one shift in the IHL, you can connect them via Mark Howe.

After Streit cleared Habs youngsters from last year, Montreal is left with this years new rookies: Matt D'Agostini and Ben Maxwell.

If AHL counts, both have played with Marc Denis this year in Hamilton, so they are both covered.

Doesn't matter, AHL/Junior games count and they played with Denis in Hamilton so pretty much all the Habs are eliminated.

I don't think this phrase is appropriate because Mike DOES NOT HAVE SEX with his teammates.

I hope.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

There are a few links to Bouwmeester from Sillinger's days in Florida. Jokinen, Kozlov, Nilsson, Ward, etc...

Adam Hall played with Sillinger in Nashville and Jagr in New York.

The crazy thing is that a guy who was born in 1928 has the same Sillinger Index as a guy born in 1990.

NYIschremp44 had a list of five NHL teams in the last 20 years with no one having two-degree connection. 2008 Canadiens have since been eliminated because of Streit.

Actually, by looking the rosters, 2001 Sharks can also be eliminated, at least the end-of-season roster because of Teemu Selšnne. They were team-mates for about month after Selšnne was traded from Winnipeg to Anaheim and then Sillinger was traded from Anaheim to Vancouver.

In 2006 Sabres I don't see player who played only in that year, so all of that team should be within two.

So does this make Sillinger the most influential player in the NHL? He's touched so many lives!

I am 3 degrees away. I have played hockey with Stacy Roest. Roest played on the Red Wings in 98-99. Sillinger played on the Red Wings in 94-95. Players such as Yzerman, Fedorov and Lidstrom played with both Sillinger and Roest.

So it goes from me to Roest to Yzerman et al to Sillinger.
