Every 33 Years...

A team comes back from 0-3 -- 1942 -- 1975

Why not 2008???

(I just thought we all needed some cheering up. Teams down 0-3 are 2 for 150 in seven game series.)

Despite all that I've gone through in my many years as a Ranger fan, and despite all the ups and downs, I can never lose faith in my team, and I can never stop rooting for them.

If they have to go out, go out fighting. But hopefully, they don't go out at all

LET'S GO RANGERS!

I honestly believe the Rangers can make it a series, I mean they have gotten ZERO bounces so far. They outplayed the Penguins the first 2 periods but just took some bad penalities. Last game if Straka's goal counts who knows what happens. I forget if it was game 1 or 2 when Gomez hit the post with 14 seconds to go. But the series has been so close just the Rangers have nothing to show for it. A couple bounces here and there and its 3-2 and we are back at home. You never know...

Awesome find. I would love to see the Rangers at least make this a series, and as others said it is very possible for that.

Not for nothing... but the victim the last time it happened?

The Pittsburgh Penguins.

*Pens blew a 3-0 series lead to the '75 Isles.

It is definitely scary stat for anyone holding a 3-0 lead, but I think since it was the Pens who got cursed last time, they would be immune to it this time, so I am hoping that if it does happen...the Stars or Wings feel the wrath of 33 year comeback. The Ranger series is a lot closer on game basis than against the Sens, so you would have a higher chance, but in reality I look at the West series before this one. A couple breaks the Rangers way and this would be a close series.

I'm not going to give up yet. Not until it's absolutely over. I'm a Yankee fan, I'd like to be on the other end of a 3-0 comeback this time.

I used this same stat on our podcast tonight! It's certainly not likely, but you know what...why the hell not? This team doesn't sound like they're ready to throw in the towel (unlike most teams down 3-0) and if they win on Thursday who knows?

Look at it this way. We need one home win and then to steal one in Pitt. Then it's back to NY with all the momentum!

Can't say "cowboy up" because it still makes me want to throw up being a Yankee fan, but let's do it boys!

Sure why not. I'm gonna be at thursday's game and I'll cheer as loud as possible...even if we get swept, the team deserves it for the enjoyment they've given me this season.
