See what happens when...

... Hlavac and Poti play the way they can? We've seen flashes of Poti brilliance, and very few sparks of Hlavac playing decently. Can anyone remember the last time these two BOTH played a good game? I think this is the most hustle I've seen out of both in over a year.

You're right about Poti. He's quietly having one of his best games as a Ranger. As for Hlavac, I havent seen anything special out of him tonight. Maybe theres something Im not seeing, but to me, he's still invinsible out there. I could care less if he shows some effort, the important thing is he hasnt scored a goal in like 25 games. Theres no excuse for that, especially when you dont contribute in any other way (ie. PK, fighting, hitting, etc.).

But the story of the night is undoubtebly Mike Dunham. What we're seeing tonight from him is what we saw down the stretch last year. If he played like this the whole year, we'd be in a playoff spot right now.

I somewhat agree. He's gotten two lucky bounces that hit posts, and one was early and might have changed the rest of the game (the backhand shot by Gionta?) that hit the crossbar. He's been good, but I'm not ready to say he "stole" this one yet.
