From a Habs Fan...

Wanted to say I really hope you guys beat the Pens and I see Jagr really upset and ready to light the lamp. I hate the Pens and the fact that the NHL babies them because of their "marketable content."

All you need to do is hit Crosby/Malkin as much as you can as they aren't the "corner" players as they are to "primadonna" for them.

God I hate the Pengiuns.

GO Rangers GO!

Winning is not the #1 thing. They want to win THEIR way.....even if it means they're handicapping themselves.

Yes because Hatcher got his suspension which he should have got...
What does that have to do with supporting the Rangers?

for stupid fans.

This team is done, sorry. They didn't take advantage of their opportunities, and you don't get do overs in the playoffs.

You guys actually have a very good chance. Just shut down Briere and Richards and score on the PP like you did in the regular of the season. I don't know how well you guys will match up against Pittsburgh if you win though. I think a team like Detroit is the only last hope to beat them. But even then, I don't see Osgood stopping that offense, even with the help of Lidstrom and Rafalski

Come on, you're trailing to Philadelphia - a team not even remotely as potent as the Pens. And you guys also had problems with Boston, which in my opinion had the weakest offense of all the eastern playoff teams

Yesterday no one would have supported that more than me (I didn't post it here but I was essentially equating coming back with hurting Crosby unfortunately) but the situation with Avery has reminded me not to wish injuries on players. It would be more satisfying to beat them at full strength anyway...

Yeah but don't underestimate the Habs. If you think the Pens PP is scary you should have looked to Montreal during the regular season. Best PP in the NHL IMHO. If Montreal can regain pure form, I don't think any team is going to stop them. They're way too deep in offense, from Higgins, Kostistyn(s), Kovalev, Koivu, Plekanec, Streit, Markov, etc; pretty potent stuff. Only weak point is Carey Price. He has sucked it up. They would have been better off with Huet. Stupid, stupid move on their part.

Oh, and being down to Philly is nothing to be ashamed about. I guess a lot of people forget that when they were HEALTHY they were on top of the conference. They have both Lupul and Richards back now, healthy as can be. Combine that with Briere playing his best hockey of the year, Carter, Prospal, etc; and this is even with Knuble and Gagne out of the line up (scary). They're a deep team and Biron has been playing great. They've got a great PP, physical team, and they just beat the hottest team in the NHL in the Capitals, lets face it, no team went into the playoffs with more steam than the Caps and they shut them down in 7. I think Philly is a force to be reckoned with this year.

Have you ever seen Crosby or Malkin even play? That's where they play some of their best hockey.
