Like it or not, but this team would be way better with Ribeiro than without...

Unfortunately your statements have no factual basis to support it. Nothing guarantees Ribs would be the same player in Montreal. I would bet that his supporting cast in Dallas is somewhat different.
I hope you keep your promise of the last statement you made...

It's not exactly a little known fact that every player plays to his potential for every team, no matter the circumstances. Case in point, Jagr leading the Capitals to the cup finals three years in a row.

But Ribeiro is the amazingest hcockey man that plaied
It's the only reason I'm hoping Dallas doesn't win... the threads here would be unbearable, I'd have to leave the site.
People need to admit.....it's one hell of a turnaround. Will definately be as one of the worst/best trades ever for whatever the reason is. Even the Thornton trade who at one point looked like one of the worst ever doesn't look that bad now that we know how pathetic Thornton is in the playoffs....
It is worth being talked about....not 1000 times but still worth 1 or 2 threads....
Having said that, if it could make people stop wanting to trade a guy after 1 bad game or even 1 bad season, maybe this will help getting it through....I doubt it but we never know...
Can't wait to see where Ryder is headed next year.....we might stop talking about Ribeiro then....but here comes the 1000 threads for Ryder....

Well, in both cases, it has/will come down to the gloves no longer fitting the hands...

For sure he wouldn't be the same player 'cause that trade is actually the main reason why he woke up and is playing that way.
What amazes me is the fact that nobody talks how Ribeiro is at fault for being traded as well. Gainey takes all the crap but nobody says that if Ribeiro would have stepped up by himself instead of waiting to be traded, we wouldn't be talking that way. Clearly, he had in him to be the player he is right now. He just didn't feel like it and he has to take some responsability....but no stupid journalists would say that though.....
