I initially thought about posting the exact same thing, literally word for word, to you.
Well, you were focused on the "way better" part and the fact it's Erika Kostitsyn.
I don't think she can convince anyone, first very few people care what she thinks and the Ribeiro issue has been beaten to death.
I do think Ribeiro's been better than Plekanec this year, last year and they're a world apart in the PO(Plekanec is still very young though). I also think the Habs would be better with three legit scoring centers, I don't care if they wouldn't have had more points, but they'd have been a bigger threat in the post-season.
In the end it really doesn't matter, every team makes big mistakes. but only Bruins and Habs fans cling on to them so much.
With Ribeiro the Habs are "way better". Therefore their 104 points in the regular season (tops in the east) gets transformed into, at least, 116. So, in conclusion, the Habs are the NHL's best team with Mike Ribeiro and 7-0 in the playoffs.
Janne Niinimaa for the 12th scorer scorer during the reg season and top scorer in the playoffs so far.
How about some love for the tough guys? The 90's/00's had some gems. Todd Ewen, Brashear, Mario Roberge, Chris Murray, Gerry Fleming, Mick Vukota, Gino Odjick, Darren Langdon and the best of them all... Lyle Odelein. Each one of them is better than Ribeiro.
It's the off-season. I'm out of things to say. I miss the Habs.
Anyway, I came across this interesting fact about Huet... he is the third all-time French-born scorer in NHL history (behind Paul MacLean and Philippe Bozon). Discuss.

His father was serving with the Canadian Armed Forces in France when he is born, moved in Canada at the age of two.
He played for Canada national team as well as the Olympics in 1979-80.
MacLean is the Assistant Coach for the Red Wings, he was a good player with the Jets in the 80's with Hawerchuk....like Kolzig, Langway and others it looks like he was born there and raised in Canada...I guess Rod Langway is the alltime scorer from Taiwan then too???

Robyn Regher is also the best brasilan hockey player ever
Petrov was the first player i had that was my favorite...(I wasnt a fan until after the last cup win)
If his skill level and size had been as big as his heart seemed to be the guy would have been a Super Star...he did pot in 25 goals one year after going to Europe for a couple of years
