It seems we have some injured players

On top of the apparent burn out from playing like mad through the second half of the season, it seems to me that some players are injured or never healed.

Komi's Timing has been so off that i think his HIP is nowhere near 100% like many have mentioned

Markov seems off as well as his timing is off in both zones

Streit was injured before the playoffs and mght have come back too soon cause he's become so hesitant.

Kovalev seems to be taing less shots and moving less smoothly on the ice with reduced speed comapared to the season.

And Finally the most obvious seems to be price with a hand/arm injury.
He's had trouble with his catching hand and doesnt seem to have as good control of the puck or distributing it as well. This does not explain the over the shoulder and weak goals. However, you can see he has a hard time even making routin glove saves. Last game twice when he covered the puck he had it barely covered which leads me to believe that his hand might be frozen and he has reduce sensation thus not feeling the puck as well.

These are merely observations and not excuses.
All teams have injured players
Add to that that our opponents have been playing well

what do you guys think

Nothing major, they'll be fine. Just have to fight through it a bit.

exactly, in the playoffs, the players being injured excuse is out the window cuz every team has it too.

look at Colorado...Smyth, Forsberg, Stastny, Hannan (4 huge pieces)

We'll find out at the end who was/is hurt

I forget who said it and the exact quote but it was along the lines of "there is no such thing as hurt in the playoffs, only injured".

every team has injured players in the playoffs.

We must win some games before our key guys need a rest.

That's why winning the series in 5 or 6 would have been useful: to rest our guys.
