I don't get it. They were right, the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbour....it was the Japanese. That quote was wrong.

YES.

We'll probably win the one Saturday but that will only delay the inevitable.

Really sucks for Saku.

No because its never finish before we lost 4 games, everything can happen since we dominated them since the start. 1-2 weak goal let by Biron and he will not be the same.

One thing that Boston taught us is that momentum shifts very easily. If we can win game 5 and prolong it, some doubt might creep into Philly's minds, and that's a dangerous thing.

The difference between us and Boston is that we'll have the 7th game at home. If somehow we can hang on to game 7... It's gonna go nuts before, during and after the game...

Exactly...the longer the series goes, the more doubt can creep into Philly's heads.

If we can get to game 7, it'll be the second time Philly blew a 3-1 lead...it could weigh heavily on them.

We'll see how it goes, but things can turn around in a hurry. When we were going into game 7 against Boston it was doom and gloom in these forums, but the guys did the job. I don't see any negativity coming from the players, it can be done.

Win game 5 and get some momentum. Then we'll see how Philly responds.

You may think it's "inevitable" but if the Habs win game 5 the Flyers will be sweating.

How far back in time do you have to go to remember the last time the habs came back from a 3-1 deficit in the playoffs????

Didn't this team prove all their critics wrong this season??? What makes this any different???

If we to win the next two games, we would be heading into a game seven, at home with all the momentum in the world. For this to happen we need to win TWO GAMES IN A ROW. TWO GAMES!!! Not 5 or 6. TWO!!

This team, if nothing else this year, has proven that it can win TWO GAMES IN A ROW!

It ain't going to be easy, but then again, not much in the playoffs are!!!
Nicely put. That's the way I see it also. It's two games. Surely we can win two games in a row. We've done it many times this year. And the fact that they are back to back is an advantage, I think, because we will have the momentum going into game 2. And then it's just one game for all the marbles back in Montreal. We can do this!

This post rocks. Nice to see some semblance of sanity here on these boards. The negativity has completely ruined this place for me as of late.

One of the keys for us to win is to get away from our pretty passing style of play which is the NHL's best IMO. Still, shoot more!!! Go to the net!!!

The other key to us winning is to rattle Biron in tomorrow's game. We have to solve him and EXPOSE him. So much the better if he has doubts after we haunt him!

Habs have to get him - NOW!

GO HABS GO!

Yes

That being said I think the Flyers have little chance of beating the Pens - the Canadiens however can beat the Pens and whoever comes out of the west. The Flyers are the worst possible matchup for anybody in the East - just good enough to beat anybody in the east but not good enough to go the distance. Given they were the WORST team in the league last year I'd say that's pretty damn impressive.
