Hey, I came about an article through habsinsideout.com by sam donnellon (whose opinion I'm sure isn't much valued here, and for good reason). there is a quote in there that struck me as being either idiotic, or a joke.
he quotes Carbo as having said:
"I've played with one guy that made those kind of saves that were silly sometimes."
then follows it up by this magical statement:
"He means Ed Belfour back when Carbonneau won a Stanley Cup with Dallas, and silly is just the perfect word for it."
Is it just me or has Donnellon never heard of Patrick Roy and the cups Carbo won with him? what a dip****.
