Best Potential Stanley Cup Final Series

I would say Flyers and Avs as it would be an allstar game with hitting.

* Please note that I added only teams that I think have a legitimate shot at making the Finals. IF you think other, then post it. I only have room for 15.

Leafs vs Wings. Joseph vs Leafs. Thomas vs Leafs. Belfour vs Joseph. ORIGINAL SIX.

Next would be Leafs vs Canucks.

A Leafs Stanley Cup Finals would be very intreresting, with all of the potential battles that would occur just because of it. Face it, Leafs vs anybody turns into a very hard fought, tight checking series.

Sens vs Wings would be pretty good with their styles of play.

I'd want to see Leafs vs. Canucks. tons of open offensive hockey., hits left and right, and there should be some good fights. Old time hockey at its best.

I can't see how people would want ot see Ottawa in a cup final against the Canucks. This isn't because I'm a Leafer but because I'm guessing they'd be watching for the offense. The sad thing is that although Ottawa scores often due to talent, their main system is trap.

Leafs vs. Wings

Lots of history there, and there hasn't been an original six matchup in the finals since 1978 or 1979.

Oh, Leafs-Canucks would be stellar. The Canucks led to the finals by a former Leafs minor league coach (Crawford) against the last coach who took them there (Quinn)...the Canadian hatred for Toronto manifests as the country bonds together with Vancouver to beat Toronto...the Canucks have never won a Cup vs. the Leafs haven't won in almost 40 years...Naslund, Bertuzzi, Jovanovski, Linden, Ohlund, Cooke, Morrison and the Sedins against Sundin, Mogilny, Nieuwendyk, Nolan, McCabe, Kaberle, Tucker, Domi and Don Cherry...Jim Hughson vs. Joe Bowen...The Garage vs. The Hangar...oh, man, it would rule...and it would probably even be a close series!

Avs & Leafs. The Toronto media will hype the series up so much I'd love it. It's already gonna be hyped up because it's the finals, but Tornoto media tends to hype things up a bit too much.

That would be a good series from a Canadian stand point. I think the Leafs have a better chance coming out of the east then the Canucks coming out of the west.
