What happened to Carbo's tie?

Carbo appeared at the post-game press conference sans the lucky tie. Maybe it's been mentionned in another thread, but can someone fill me in on the details and say what happened to the tie? I haven't read any explanations anywhere yet.

Well there is this rumour circulating that a leprechaun dressed in women's clothing snatched the tie from Guy as he was going to the bathroom.

Either that or Carbo just took it off...

Maybe he burned it in a pile with Price's old glove and Ryder's contract...

Maybe it grew wings and flew back to its home planet.

The tie was actually wearing Carbo.

After the loss, it lost all its magic and became beautiful. In a fit of rage, Carbo threw it in the garbage.

Enough with those stupid superstitions.

A game is fought and won on the 200 x 85 ice surface. Not around the neck, a church, or a voodoo doll !

I also heard that they melted the tie and made a cure for AIDS.

There was a rumor that Carbo dripped some mustard on it, thereby ruining it and all its powers.

Unfortunately, he couldn't tell there was mustard there amongst all the psychedelic color swirls.

I hope he burned that tie....it was ugly. And if we were hoping that the luck of a damn ugly tie was going to win the series for us....then thats pretty sad.

The team is young and inexperienced and we lost because of it. This is a good lesson for them....hopefully they will realize that you need to give 100% every game, every shift in the NHL playoffs in order to win. It takes heart to win and we didn't always show the kind of heart we needed to win big games when the chips were down.
