dang i lost 5-3 against a league III team. maybe a better outcome if i had played on high. but ill take the TS raise. My stars came out and played well przewoska scored all three goals for me, and vratislav made 41 saves out of 46 before getting pulled.
cant be too upset.

play one of the bottom feeders tomorrow in blakk sabbath. My luck tho he plays on high and gets his first win of the season against me.

I have decided not to sell my 97q prospect I think. IŽll have my facilities at 80-80 soon enough. Then IŽll get my YS to 60(50 right now). IŽll have enough money to keep building for now so I think I can develop this one myself.

I just need friendlies. Lots of friendlies :-D

It's Lubomir, just with diacritic...

6-0 against IX. leaguer today. That makes it 7 shutouts in 12 games this season

I actually try to avoid players with these types of names just out of irritation with the symbols. If a true stud came along, I'd overlook it, but...

Also, lost our NC last night. Played on low, to preserve TS for some tough league games coming up.

I find that works best ...I still avoid naems that just don;t sound like 'hockey names' routinely though...ha!

BTW...MadArcand, I sent you a challenge for a friendly for next Wed, we both had a free date. Feel free to do the same with me anytime. i'm a little booked for the near future, but keep me in mind!

Accepted. Anyone with decent arena (6k+) up for friendly on Sunday?

Another batch of prospect purchases, what do you guys think?

Or, if you're using Firefox, you can install GreaseMonkey and THIS SCRIPT that fixes a lot of the names.

While I'm sharing, I might as well toss out the other two scripty things for the new guys.

eroth has his QUICK VIEWER. That allows you to hover over a players name and his attributes/stats will pop up on screen. Pretty cool.

And Lamma has his HA-Extra, which actually adds buttons to the HA site. There's one on Standings pages. Click that and you get an HA Tools league-wide comparison. You get a similar thing on your calendar, but it's just a comparison with you and one other team (that's also in the box score). You can also change parts of the boxscore. The players stats bit can be changed from stats to show age, season stats an combined line stats. Here's a pic showing my team with the button clicked and the other team showing how it usually looks.

Well then...enjoy the wierd squiggly lines!! ...you should try and make a line of the most incomprehensible names possible, I did that my 1st year, quite funny actually!

Here's my newest project:

I think I can work him into a nice stay-at-home D guy over the next season.

How does a guy with 89Q get to 21 years old with only 53AI? Or 23yo with 80AI and 91Q? Oh wait. I actually know the answer. My friend DILLIGAF who joined HA stopped playing the last 3-4 months he had his team. He would pull youth when he logged on, but never set training schedules. So they were 21 years old with 30AI So those could be a nice pick-ups.

feichter:
Upson 72/74
Oatway 61/68
Carter 81/73
Ulvick 53/41
Radek 74/99

Can someone do mine?
G-Rob - He's at 0P now, so I'll have to get rid of him. I think 29 is the age where everyone can see the real Q/P. Just want to confirm.
Oravainen - Just made the starting line-up, so he'll probably be with the team through next season, at least. Just curious about his showing.
Jakub Valenta - He's been the "JV" goalie, but has been replaced in the line-up by London. I'll probably keep him around until I have a proper back-up, but if he's showing crazy numbers...

I'm selling some crap players. The only one I would possibly buy for 10K is-
Leo Gill - Showing 56?/80? but he's training 23-25%. I have no idea what that means, but I have enough goalies and too many players (49). So I'm not going to hold onto him long enough to scout him. Damn 16 day scout

Thanks, guys. G-Rob is spot on. So remember that. At 29 years old, Q/P is exact for everyone. The other two are really close as well. 84/35 and 71/59. How come I never have a 75Q player show up as 91Q?

feichter, there is no difference. That's why everyone says Scouting is useless. Apparently, a better scouting department used to get closer to the real Q/P values, but that was before I joined. I'm not actually sure why they changed it. Maybe someone who was around back then can help us?

Well, then, time to backburner any $$ I used to spend on scouting! T/R till I hit 80, then YS till the same.

I stopped worrying about scouting a long time ago, when i realized it doesnt help much until your in higher leagues and have more money to use the scouts.

im close to getting T to 80, its at 73 soon to be 74. because i started playing the game without a lot of important info, my Regen is trying to catch up, but its only at 55 and growing. I got my YS up to 40 at the midpoint last season, and after some debate have now decided to get it up to 60. I have the extra cash so i figure why not.
Cheer and scouts are at 30 while marketing is 35 for me.

Im just trying to stay competetive in IV. i think one more year of avoiding relegation after this one and ill be ready for a playoff push. I cant handle going back to V.

also, could you guys tell me what he shows?
Hes about to become my first ever YS pull to hit 100 AI.http://www.hockeyarena.net/index.php...hp&id=10512336

thanks

hmm hes really a 90/41 so thats good there from a sellers standpoint, but hes been a solid winger for me, and i consider him a core part of my team.

therein lies my dilemma. i think if the P was higher id sell him cause hed be worth a lot, but im taking a major risk especially with his loyalty a -3.

Yeah its tough when they don't have the potential. I'd just build him up to like you said.

My roomate has an 18yo he just pulled 99?Q and 57?P. But he's gonna keep him because he's scared about the low potential.

Going for 7-0 tonight against the Gophers! Those pesky pests are going down!

We didn't know then and don't know now either. Worst move HA ever made IMO.

I vaguely remember it was stated as necessary in order to implement something else but not sure what or if I made it up entirely!
