Scary but true ( inside info ) ( Sather + Tikkanen )

Tikkanen is today meeting with Sather about a job.....

he couldnt tell what type it was, but Tikkanen flying to States for 2 days meeting with Jackass Sather can only spell trouble... ( MORE THAN WE HAVE TODAY )

My 2 cents is we have a new assistant coach with NO COACHING EXPERIENCE WHAT SO EVER in a few days ...

What are your opinions on this on ?

have a nice day

... Damn, I miss the days Graves Larmer and Beukaboom played....

My guess is that Sather is looking at putting Renney behind the bench, and Tik would fill Renney's Assistant spot. I don't really see what the advantages of this would be, and although Dolan has said Sather isn't going anywhere this season, I could see Sather promoting Renney to focus on GM duties only.

Now, my question is how effective would Tik be as a coach?

Another possibility: Tik signs on as a Euro Scout for the Rangers/Wolf Pack?

Not really bothered by it. If there was talk of him suiting up...I'd probably abandon the team for good. Tik wa sa fun player to watch and could very well be a decent coach (if that's the case), or scout. As long as he stay out of the jersey I'm pretty much indifferent to it.

understand anything Tikkanen had to say? I guess that would mean he would fit right in with the current situartion.

I guess it would be a "Farmer Fran" type of situation!
