Immonen was one of those players who's value was never as high anywhere as it was here.
Clump him with the Pocks of the world as a AAAA player who is on the bubble.
He could probably play over the short term for a team looking to bridge a gap, but I don't see him really "sticking" anywhere over the long term or pushing some of the other talent we have.
Immonen just came to the organization at the wrong time. Ten years ago we would've tried passing him off as a prospect, but with guys like Dubinsky, Dawes, Callahan, Staal, etc. showing they belong, we can't even use the Rangers rookie "prejudice" to get this one over.
Right now, there isn't really a center on this team that I would give up for Immonen. At best you MIGHT be able to say Betts, but I personally would not.
