Carter? Richards?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe that, if they are signed to contracts, the Flyers could call up either Richards or Carter once and send them back once since neither have played any regular-season games thus far this year? Also, once the OHL season is over, I think that they can play here, no? I know that Woywitka played in the AHL playoffs last year, but he was already under contract. Carter and Richards are both under 20 so they couldn't do that but i think they could play for the big club. There may be something barring us from signing them at this point, though. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think there is some kind of deadline for that. Either way, though, I'm not suggesting that we should call either of them up as we'll probably be ok if Primeau isn't out long. But someone had inquired as to the rules regarding this in another thread and nobody responded so I figured I'd give it its own thread.

The flyers will probably move Gags to Center. The news on JR sounds more promissing this morning

That's because he's JR...he is fully capable of rather than letting his face heal, play with a full face cage. He must eliminate his physcial game no matter what until he is healed though...

Yes they can be called up if need be if they have signed a contract.
