R.J Umberger

Talk about him

I was arguing with some NY Rangers fans about Prucha, Moore a few years back.

He is pretty good ha?

Kid can play.

Yes, he is better then Dubinski (right now). He can play anywhere. LW/RW, center anywhere.

P.S go Jagr. Always was a huge fan! Good luck to you. I do not like your team but hey, I will be watching every sinlgle Rangers game against Pittsbugh

He has been amazing, he had what, 13 goals in the regular season? Only the Red Wings forward who scored all those goals is a better scorer right now

Quick question: Why is this thread on our boards?

Follow up question: Who gives a crap about BJ Hamburger?

Explain the purpose of the thread, posted on the RANGERS board by a FLYERS fan (I know this), other than 'lol you guys let a guy go we picked up who has 9 goals in the playoffs isn't your management stupid'.

Maybe we should discuss his versatility, his overall skill and size package, the argument that he's better than our 1st line center, all in a tidy package of WE HAVE HIM BECAUSE UR TEAM WAS TOO ARROGANT ABOUT TEAM CHEMISTRY AND ATTITUDES AND WROTE OFF OUR PLAYOFF HERO LOLZ.

Come on Kaktus, I eagerly await a meaningful discussion.

I dunno, he seems to have some sort of obsession with us...especially if he came here to post this thread minutes after his team had one of the high points of their recent history.

Eh, to each his own.

I was just talking about this with a friend of mine, he is a puterorican, but never the less he is a friend, a quite close friend, We met in Jr. high & actually we hated each other, funny story about that actually, but anyway we became closer when we both had part time jobs in high school working @ Patjmark, I was a cashier, he worked the bottle room, We lived like 4 or 5 blocks from each other so we would commute together, sometimes that would be takeing the bus in or walking, the walk wasn't bad realtively straight about 25 minutes to a half hour, anyway evantually I gotmy licence & would just drive back than a gallon of super was about a $1.45, We graduated HS both went to diffrent colleges but still remained close, he became a CPA actually. but i'm getting off topic, So anyway I was in his wedding & stuff & he is a tier 1 friend. What was I talking about orginally? Oh yea Umberger.

I was saying how Sather gave him a two week tryout contract & Umberger had a rep for being lazy & diffivcult although the Rangers did not sign him maybe the experiance woke him up that this is the NHL & he wouldn't last long if he did not become more dedicated.

Exactly...so let him troll...who cares. His team just advanced to the ECF and he's here starting ignorant threads. Clearly he doesn't have too much of a life.

RJ Umberger is NOT better than Dubinsky is.

That's an absurd thought.

If they traded places, we would be a worse team.

The Umburglar's stats are impressive, if you actually saw the goals, much less impressive

Dubinsky would have sixteen-infinity goals if he were playing against Price

starting a **** thread like this moments after your team advance the the East finals tells me all I need to about you (if I hadn't known it already).

I agree, except for his first goal tonight, which was ****ing incredible. And I also have no clue why this thread is on your board, except that Kaktus is a little drunk and is just throwing **** out there.

I just pissed myself laughing.

Dubinsky is 4 years younger. First NHL season 14/26/40

Umberger is 26 3rd year 13/37/50

Dubinsky is much more well rounded.

Umberger 11 Playoff points this year.

Dubinsky 8 playoff points this year, with 3 less games.

As a rookie Dubinskys numbers are comparable.

Don't get me wrong, RJ is a great player and I would take him on the Rangers in a second, however I dont think you can compare the two players esp since Dubinsky is doing this as a rookie.
