Stamkos reminds me a lot of Spezza, and I hate Spezza.

Stamkos is gonna be over rated. Good finesse player but never able to lead his team anywhere.

Have you ever seen him play? He's miles away from overrated right now, and Ill get back to you in a few years to see where Tampa lands in the standings.

one of the most retarded things ive heard.

at least when i write off patrick white, i have the grounds i can use by saying he had 4 assists in 40 ncaa games, stamkos is the most "explosive" player since crosby.

already people are writing him off? nice.

Play wise yes, but when Spezza came into the league he was a pretty cocky kid, Stamkos seems more down to earth

Stats aren't everything though, i remember the coach said sometimes he is the best player on the ice. I wouldnt be too worry about White yet unless he didnt show any improvement in the next season, which is extremely unlikely considering the ice time he is going to get when the veteran players go for pro hockey.

lets do it. what do u wanna bet?

I was write about Nathan Smith, Marc Andrew Bernier, i was also right about Umberger, when he potted 56 points on a trapping Ohio state buckeyes team I knew he would probably become a 2nd line NHLer.

I wonder what are your reasons other than his lack of production. Don't forget that he still a teenager playing in the NCAA for the first time, and with limited ice time, what do you expected from him?

Mind if I join in too? I bet that White becomes a solid NHLer as well.

I was also right about Umberger, the Sedins and keeping Kesler. (edit) And unlike most people, I have seen him play.

Its what went through my head.

As for the thread, I don't know if I like the idea of the kid already being on TV. I've never really seen him play or interviewed for I cannot pass judgement.

Way to eary to call White a bust. I like the sound of the type of player he is. Lets just hope he is developed correctly.
