OT- NHL Auctions

On the nhl site they have an auction page with cool memorabilia. HAs anyone ever bid/won?

If so, how much were you clipped for shipping?
Is it worth my time?

I've won a couple of things there: Andrei Kostitsyn's game worn jersey from his first NHL game and a Mikhail Grabovski GWG puck from the AHL playoffs (Vs the Wolves).

I don't think the shipping was too bad actually. In fact, I think the shipping for the game worn jersey was less than if I was to buy a replica jersey from the NHL.com shop. What I got absolutely hammered on (for the jersey at least) was the import tax. I was expecting it to be substantial, but it was a lot (could have bought a replica jersey with name/number on, had it shipped and had a little change). That might not apply to you though. If you can find something you really want, it can be a good site. Just watch out if import tax applies to you and the bidding gets high.

Bought quite a few things.

I find if you wait til mid summer, you'll win some auction a lot easier.
As for shipping, they usually state it. in the ad for item
