I'm curious if he'd have done this to us. We were planning on leaving him in the AHL, would you be doing the same?

Yeah, hey NHL, are we going to get a free draft pick?

Not happy about it, but whatever.

Maybe, maybe not. At least he'd have had the chance to get called up to a team that may be in the playoffs. Good luck w/ Kuznetsov btw. I'm excited to see his debut.

I'm keeping my hopes down. I don't expect us to make the playoffs.

I'm just surprised he'd be so selfish to just up and take his ball home. I doubt he'd play again with that attitude. Just not sure if its because he thinks he's above the AHL or what.

I would miss him, but I am still mourning the loss of my favorite Sabre (Halak).

I'll leave this here:

Klesla was assigned to the AHL for the first time this season. I think injuries have been tough for him.

Problem is, both Neuvirth and Halak have already played a game for their respective new teams.

Maybe we'll be awarded with the 31st pick in NHL draft.

He was a cap dump anyways. I'm still happy we got Neuvirth even if Klesla is acting like a little *****.

No they aren't. They were quite happy to have him play in Rochester I imagine. The money's not a big deal with Pegula, especially since the payroll's gonna be pretty low for a couple years.

I wonder when the last time an organization had two players bail in one season.

I wonder if there will be some alteration in the deal (a 5th instead of a 3rd)?

That's kinda what I'm curious about. Is there any fallout or changes to the trade since the Sabres essentially acquired a player unwilling to play for the organization.

Or is it ... tough beans Sabres. Sucks for you.
