Elbow Pads

I did a search on recent posts about elbow pads but seem to be getting conflicting advice...

I have these VIC hugeeee elbow pads...kinda looks like i have a baseball in them. Theyre bulky as hell and want to get new ones. Part of me wants to get the cheapest possible but i also dont want to get a cheap pair and have it bite me in the a$$ later. What do you suggest? I was looking at the nike bauer classics ($20) or am i better off getting nike bauer vapor xxvs, for example?

I've got CCM Vector V08s but the Vapor XXVs are really good too.

They're elbow pads, who cares. You'll get used to which ever pair you buy. I have RBK 4k's and I can throw dirty bows with 'em.
I have an extra pair of RBK 5K's, you can have em for 20$.

I wear Rbk 5Ks myself...but they are bulky and most of the Rbk ones are. If you want to really find some non bulky fitting I'd check out some Eastons. I hear good stuff about the Stealth series.

I'm using CCM 2.0 right now. Perfect for me, less bulky the better.

I got the Old School Sherwood classics that they brought back. http://www.hockeymonkey.com/sherwood...ition5030.html
they may no tbe the best new thing, but they did the job, and enough people still wanted them to bring them back....

I originally had ones that were the Molded plastic (cheap), and they had littles to no cushioning, and when i fell it felt like i was landing directly on the ice and had some nice bruises. I am now sold on ones with more cushion rather than just plastic.

And
