Pandolfo

UFA. He's 33 and a great shutdown guy. Have no idea what hes looking for but he'd be awesome on Betts wing

No thanks. While I do see why you would want him, I like the 4th line as is...except switch Hollweg with a kid from Hartford. That money can be used to help sign a sniper for Gomez.

No knock on Pandolfo as a player - he's great at what he does - but all I can think about is how he'd be Bruce Driver v2.0 as a signing for us.

Do you actually think anyone in this league would be interested in trading for Ryan Hollweg?

Gotta disagree here. He was a Selke finalist last year. Sure he might not have been as good this year but Selke finalsts don't grow on trees. He's been one of the best defensive wingers in hockey.

That said, I don't want him on the Rangers right now.

LOL... I'd take an empty puck back for him. That'd be a steal

I love Holly as a lockeroom, team personality type of guy, but he brings next to nothing on the ice. He's like a poor man's Jason Strudwick.

Pandolfo is a huge upgrade over Hollweg and it hurts New Jersey.

Let the defections continue. Niedermeyer, Rafalski, Gomez...

Soon it'll just be aging Marty, Elias and Madden surrounded by a bunch of scrubs

strudwick at forward would be an upgrade over hollweg. the devils gotta draft a goalie in the first round this year cause, after marty they got nothing. at least rangers after lundqvist have some depth but its not much but more than jersey.

There are only two teams I can see Pandolfo leaving the Devils for. Unfortunately for New Jersey, the Rangers are one of those two.

I don't see it happening, though. Pandolfo is going to be kind of expensive to be a fourth-line winger on Betts' wing.

i know that but maybe in 3 years wiikman will make it as a backup. and plus we got the great holt as well lol. we should draft a goalie with our 2 or 3rd round pick. we cant have enough goalies.

The only way I would support a goalie being picked this draft is if it's a Finnish or Swedish potential sleeper in the 6th or 7th round.

Agree on him being too expensive for the situation we're in. The Rangers will have to pinch pennies to get the likes of Jagr, Avery and a puck moving d-man signed. We won't have the money for expensive 3rd and/or 4th line players no matter how good they are at what they do.

no need for him...he'd probably ask for around 2 mil, no reason to give that to a 4th liner.

as for hollweg, keep him around. homo larry won't be able to do his thing forever and we can fill his slot from within the organization if we keep hollweg around.

I'd love to have Pandolfo. One of the best defensive forwards around. Pandolfo, Betts and Sjostrom
