- 57 Gibson ES125
- An Epiphone I bought at a yard sale but never really played, (it needs work)
- A Japanese 60's piece of crap called an Apollo that goes out of tune after 3 strums....but it i so hideous I have to keep it....looks like a McCartney Hofner bass with a whammy bar....ludicrous to say the least.

I disagree... it depends on how nice the guitar is. Forget about it ever being able to hold a tune again, even after a repair.

Fixable, maybe... but it will not be the same guitar.

lets not forget, you can make a lot of money by playing a guitar that is out of tune

If you get it fixed, and it cant hold a tune, tune the strings to the closest tuning they will hold and be creative!

I really wish the GRX20 had a Floyd Rose Tremolo. It has a tremolo system, but it sucks ass and apparently wont stay in tune.

I've heard that beginners shouldn't use one though.

I like the Alpine White. Have an Epi Studio in Vintage Sunburst. It's almost time to buy a second guitar... it'll probably take me 5 years to find one.

I use this:

except instead of the sweet design in the pic I just have a mirror. I also do not know how to play. I would like to learn, but keep breaking the first string and haven't found the time to get it properly strung/tuned in a while.

Epiphone Les Paul Special II with a sunburst design. Super cheap guitar, extremely entry level...but whatever. Gotta start somewhere right?

I suck balls at it though. Like REALLY suck. I got it for xmas, but didnt get to play much until after uni was done.

This summer I should be putting a lot of time into it.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Sunburst

Jackson Dinky MG reversed Black (w/Floyd Rose and EMG-HZ)

Fender Mexican Strat Lite Ash, (Birdseye maple neck, 3 single coil Seymour duncan pickups)

Ibanez Lone Star Acoustic Black

Venture Acoustic (forgot what model, just an old crappy guitar)

Playing through Traynor 2 X 12 CV80 Tube amp, 80 watts of pure power!!

Pedal setup is simple, Digitech Wah, Boss CS-3, Ibanez Delay, Boss DS-1 and a crappy multi effects pedal I bought from my roomate.

I do however need to pick up an overdrive pedal and a good distortion pedal (I just sold my metal zone to a friend, that thing sounds absolutly terrible through a tube amp)

I had to Pawn all my equipment off when I moved to San Diego. Biggest mistake I ever made in my life. I totally miss playing guitar and being in a band.

Fender Squire Stratocaster and a Profile (don't worry, I have no idea what it is either). My dad got the Profile for me from an antiques shop and it actually sounds quite decent but it gets a lot of feedback.

Finally a chance to show off my gear.

I didn't want to create a thread.. That would be very snobby of me. Instead I'll post them all here. It's only half as snobby, at best.

Rickenbacker 330/12
Gibson SG Standard
Gretsch Duo Jet 6128 (58 ReIssue)
Fender Strat '57 ReIssue
Fender Fat Strat
Epiphone Les Paul w/ Bigsby (Bigsby = win)
Epiphone EJ-160E Acoustic

+

+

I parted together both Strats. I finally ordered a 57 vintage neck for the 57 Strat, so the maple neck that's on it now is going on the other Strat, and the rosewood neck is going to be sold.

I'm a snob. Someone put me in my place.

Please disregard the bad pics, and the ugly ass couch.

Did you drop it? Was there a crack before?

Gibson is having a **** time with quality control, lately. Unless you bought it used, or really banged it up, that shouldn't just happen.
