If you could choose the teams to be in a Division with the Blue Jackets...

If you could select the teams that would be part of a Division with the Blue Jackets, which 3 or 4 teams would be the most appropriate, in your opinion, to be part of the Division? Or, in another way, which 3 or 4 teams would you prefer, within reason, to be in the Division with the Blue Jackets?

Don't choose more than 4 teams on the list provided with the Poll, and not less than 3 teams. Three teams could be part of a 4-team Division in a 32-team League after the next expansion. If you want to choose a team that's not on the list, select the option "Other" and then post the name of the team(s) that are not listed.

All commentaries about anything related to the Poll are welcome!

Only Blue Jackets fans should participate in selecting teams in the actual Poll!

Detroit - obvious Michigan-Ohio rivalry connection, plus many Jackets fans were Detroit fans before the Jackets came here.
Pittsburgh - they're close enough that there ought to be a rivalry there, plus it helps raise the level of competition.
Nashville - feels like kind of an 'odd one out', but I include them because we're slowly getting a good rivalry building even without the playoffs involved (!) and that sort of thing would only help both teams.
Philadelphia - mostly for Pittsburgh's sake, to be honest.

I won't vote in the poll because the Blue Jackets are my second fav team(well, I consider them favourite but I will always choose EDM before them) and I don't want to ruin the poll based on this comment. "Only Blue Jackets fans should participate in selecting teams in the actual Poll!"

So for my personal reasons, I would like to see....
Edmonton (Oilers are my fav team, would like to see them play each other because whoever wins, I'm happy)
Vancouver (I live in Vancouver, I can see them play in Vancouver 4 times rather then 2 times. Also I can see Nash and Norrena(if he plays) play more often on tv)
Detroit(no reason, other fav player is Franzen so I like it that they play each other 8 times)
Pittsburgh (A lot of ppl watch Pens game so I would like everyone to see how great of a player Nash is )

I thought about realignment to replace STL w/Pittsburgh, but with Detroit, Pittsburgh, and maybe the improving Hawks, I figure we'd just keep getting high draft picks. I stuck with the current alignment -- the devil we know.

Didn't vote as I didn't want to throw off your poll, but to be the Great Lakes division, you'd have to add Toronto in place of Pittsburgh.

If Jim Balsillie ever gets his way and moves another team to southern Ontario, I can see them being called the "Great Lakes ____________", since cities like Hamilton, Kitchener and London don't exactly have a lot of international recognition.

Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Nashville(although, if realistic, I wouldn't mind swapping for Chicago or Toronto)

I'd love to have Toronto along with the remaining teams on the Great Lakes list.

I would have to say Columbus, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington.

Putting Crosby and Ovechkin in the same division would be amazing. Plus Philly has great young talent like Richards and Carter.

I dont' see a point of us being in the same division with the Pens. I'd be bored for 6-8 games a year having to watch the Pens (who I despise). Plus, we'd get the crap kicked out of us regularly.

Minnesota, Washington, Chicago, Buffalo is still my ideal division a month later. Those all would be great games. I don't get why no one else has mentioned Minny. We entered the league at the same time as they did and the games are always good. If it's just because they're in a different timezone, i think that's stupid.
