He'd be a contender for comeback player of the year if he signed with Detroit. Detroit is really one of the only places I could see him flourishing. Could also see him with the Lightning if his asking price is reasonable.

Yeah I think Atlanta would be good for him. Maybe even a team like Phoenix with all their youth he can add some depth. And yes I also think Detroit would be a good destination for him.

He'd look good in Minnesota playing LW (not RW).

Every player dreams of playing for the Leafs. Where else does management overpay and accept poor results, all while giving you complete power over them with a NTC/NMC?

I would get a nice chuckle if Nashville (The bible belt of the NHL) signs him.

Van could use him (I think?).

He is not the players he used to be but he can still score goals.

Great thread title!

Devils, Flames, Red Wings... all work for me.

The Commodore #64 is priceless! That quote alone made opening this thread worthwhile.

I would say hell but everyone has probably said that already....

or New Jersey. I can picture it...the NJ sports section: "SATAN HAS COME HOME!"

the pens

The Pens, if they are unable to resign Malone and/or Hossa will very likely make a bid for Satan.

Satan would probably cost around a 4 mil cap hit and would fit seamlessly alongside Staal or Crosby.

Ray Shero has made a point of trying to sign second-tier skilled forwards (ala Sykora) to compliment his high octane centers. Satan fits that profile perfectly.

The Rangers, Bruins, Habs, and Devils have all stated that they need to add a scoring winger to play with their talented centers.

According to Ekland, Washington is the only city still interested in Satan.

I have to question a little why everyone's so down on Satan. Is he a #1 scoring option anymore? Definitely not. But last season he played through a painful knee injury all season to give it all to a team that wasn't even in contention a lot of the way through, and when he realized that he couldn't be the 30 goal scorer anymore he really dedicated himself to Nolan's system and played a nice all around game for the Isles.

A team like Pittsburgh would be wise to sign Satan as a second line winger; he's still good for 25 goals and (contrary to popular belief) he won't hurt you defensively.

I could see Miro end up in Atlanta, New Jersey (come on, it has to be, he would be a brilliant marketing tactic there), Detroit (we need people with fire for next year, does he fit the bill?), and i could definitely see him as well in Minnesota if they lose some people.
