any new news on jr

Any news on JR's progress and how long he will be out. I am a huge JR fan not to mention he is one of my fantasy starters and i only have bonk and Shawn McCecran on my bench.

www.philly.com On here it says he's out 6-8 weeks or until about till the end of the regular season--April 1. Jaw shattered pretty good.

He was interviewed during the 1st period and sounded OK. He seemed to be in really good spirits. When Somik scored the first goal, the camera panned to Roenick who was in the crowd and he immediately jumped up and started cheering. I believe whole-heartedly that he will be back in 4 weeks, with a cage of course.

Pannacio is on WFAN right now. He said he interviewed JR. Roenick says he has stage 3 concussion symptoms: nausea, headaches, etc. Pannacio reported Roenick saying that he doubted he would return for the regular season.

TP said that in hearing the things JR had to say and the way he said them, he had doubts whether JR would ever return. Tomorrow's Inquirer article should be interesting.

dear god I hope he's able to come back. Not only do I like him as a Flyer, but he's great for the game of hockey.

on another note, with the nausea and the wired jaw... what happens if he has to vomit? I'm not trying to be funny, because in all seriousness, how often does a guy with a concussion have a wired jaw? All the best to JR for a complete and speedy recovery.
