Name those players

The challenge: name both players without Googling the text below.

------------------

Player 1:

Age: 26

2007 Season
Goals: 15
Assists: 20
Points: 35
+/-: -17

TSN Scouting Report:

Assets: Displays sound positioning and the ability to get into open areas to score goals. Owns a lethal shot from the slot area and a goal-scorer's mentality.

Flaws: Needs to make better use of his linemates. Lacks defensive polish. Isn't a very physical player, and isn't able to create his own shot.

Career potential: Second line right wing.

Player 2:

Age: 26

2007 Season
Goals: 18
Assists: 19
Points: 37
+/-: -10

TSN Scouting Report:

Assets: Is very deft at handling the puck and maneuvering his way through defenders. Has good scoring instincts and knows his way around the offensive zone.

Flaws: Tends to struggle in defensive situations, which cuts into his overall value. Has improved his skating ability but there's still room for improvement.

Career potential: Top six winger.

------------------

Obviously, I have an agenda here -- namely, to show that we should cut Player 1 some slack and not sick the lynch mob on him because he's having his first bad year.

nice work guy (although I still wonder about his long term future with the club)

But those don't match Ryder's stats at all for this season??

14 goals 17 assists -4

becomes

15 goals 20 assists -17

?

Don't bother looking. No player in the league had 15 goals and 20 assists. Also no player had 35 points and -17.

Monumental screw-up.
