No he won't be coming close to any records, but he still has by far more goals then 99% of the rest of the defenseman in the league and still leads defenseman in points.

The season ends in mid march, so they still have about 6-7 games.

thank you....good to hear he is playing well and has the most points for a defenceman....also good not to hear about any injuries.....seems to stay relatively healthy....which is hard to find with a offensive defenseman because normally they arent as big

OHL scoring record for a D is 155 points (Bryan Fogarty in 1988-89), so Bobby better pick up the pace in his last few games... he needs 92 more points!

Seriously though, great season by Sangs. Can't wait to see him make the jump to the pro ranks next season.

For those who want to know Cherepanov stats:
http://209.85.135.104/translate_c?hl...urnamentId%3D2

Great site, has game by game stats for him. I couldn't find this anywhere else.
As of now Cherepanov played 45 games, scored 14 goals and 13 assists for a total of 27 points. Last season he played 47 games and scored 18 goals and 11 assists for 29 points. His team only plays one more game this season so if he gets two points in his final game he will tie his total from last year with one less game played.

After shutting out Mississippi on Thursday, the SeaWolves turned the tables on the Checkers tonight, winning 1-0. Holt made 21 saves in the loss, to get his GAA to 2.35 and his Sv% to.925.

Chris Holt lost 1-0 .... i'd rather be kicked in the balls! 4h ago

love the passion.. i really think Chris is a good guy and a good goalie.. the playoff series where he came in and got a shutout (or two?) a couple years ago, really made me a fan..

In the previous prospect thread it was said that Cherepanov was up to 14 goals and 14 assists, but Hockey DB says he's at 12 and 12.

So...Does Cherepanov have 15 goals or 13 goals today?

Liking Cherepanov...

06-07: 47 GP - 18 G - 11 A - 29 P - +14 - 45 PIM
07-08: 46 GP - 15 G - 13 A - 28 P - + 7 - 12 PIM

I remember over the summer when we drafted him people were saying his rookie season could've just been a fluke. Seems they were wrong.

Now lets see if he can follow this with a strong playoffs.
