Suter & Radulov

A couple of players who will be core players for the Predators along with Weber. What would your GM give up for them ?

I'd trade a 25ish year old second line winger with possible first line upside (Lupul or Umberger with Lupul having the greater upside), a first round pick (27th overall), and a decent prospect (Nodl, Ratchuk, someone on that level) for Suter.

The real question is, though, what does Nashville need if they're going to deal a guy like Suter or Radulov. What are they looking for, what do they lack?

Nash needs a big forward, who isn't afraid to use his body, with some scoring touch, no?

exactly ... the philosophical shift has been made ... Poile stated that he's going with size + skill ... notice how small our forward corps is ... Erat, Hornqvist, Smithson, Nichol, Sullivan (like he's gonna play), etc ... it really is team midget

Honestly, why are you even asking about Radulov's trade value?

I would give up Umberger, Nodl and a later round pick for Suter. However, the chance that it happens is very slim.

Lupul, Nodl, and a 1st is overpayment. Lupul and Nodl would be closer to what I would offer, or Umberger, Nodl, and the pick.

I have the perfect guy for you. You may have heard of him. . . Scott Hartnell?

As much as I'd like Harts back, Suter is more valuable, I'd rather keep Suter.

You're a wise man. It would be a hilarious trade to make, though. How much do you think Suter gets on his new contract?

wowza, if this is true then the Flyers are most Def out. We arnt trading Giroux or JVR, and if the asking price is that high, there is no way that we can do that.

Suter has top pairing potential, we would want top line talent in return...

understood, but we arnt going to be able to do that. We are trying to trade RJ and Nodl or something like that. Given your depth at D, I think you should most Def trade him. If you can get what some of these offers are here then that would help immensely.
