I seem to recall the possibility of Timmer and Jellybean being part of the bWo, however all evidence of this unfortunately was lost during the great 31st july cataclysm...
As you see btw I have returned from my inspection journey through Europe to see whether the tactical assessments by the European division of the BIA were in fact correct, and will be there to keep the peace once again

Toronto would have beaten Montreal easily that year. It is one of my saddest memories and best memories being a Leaf fan all in one.
Cmon I know that this is the leaf board but Dougie was running on fumes by the end of the LA Series and had dropped a ton of weight for a little guy. The Habs had one of those years where everything goes right. All the big teams fell in the East and they won 10 OT games in a row. Mr. Roy was on a special quest and it would have been a great series for sure but saying the Buds would have won easily is just a little bit of an overstatement.

And Clark was on a rampage and was playing his best hockey ever...and funny thing so was the rest of that team. The Leafs had a year where they were ripped off by the refs and should have gone. I feel the Leafs would have won easily...it's not an overstatement.

And Leclair was on a rampage scoring OT goals and Desjardins was proving why he would become a mainstay of Philly's defence for the next decade. And Schneider was proving he was going to be a good defender. Mostly Patrick was a winner and Potvin never won anything. So saying they would have won easily is an overstatement. Just like if I said the habs would have won easily would be an overstatement.

Armageddon ? I'm sorry I missed this, but, if it included Bruce Willis Ben Affleck and Aerosmith in any way or fashion, I'm happy I missed it.

Add anything else about yourself, too.
I also like the Avalanche, sometimes I'm forced to like them moreso because they win every few years whereas the Stavro Leafs just tease us all with brilliant spots of heroics on-ice drama and talent, then blow it all against teams that aren't -that- unbeatable.

The Nuke aka Armageddon was when the boards were wiped out and we were forced to start from scractch. Thats why if you do a search for previous posts, it only goes back to a month ago, whereas we previously had a database here going back all the way to early 2002 I believe.
Do you think the Peddie Leafs will tease us since Stavro is no longer with us? :p

Thanks for the heads up.
I think the Leafs will get someplace this year no matter who the management structures out to be so long as Quinn sticks to his system, the boys are relatively healthy in April, and we grab one or two quality defenceman at a nice rate.
Tverdovsky, Klee are the names I keep hearing here and elsewhere. I'd go with Tver, and give Jackman a bigger role, pray Pilar will comeback sometime this year, and at the deadline acquire another beast defenceman as the rats scatter to the top of the titanic as it sinks into the the cba deadline.
