OT - Sports museum

So I'll be in NYC next week, and was wondering if anyone had been to the new sports museum yet?

http://www.sportsmuseum.com/

It's pricey, $27 for adults... so I want to know if it's worth it or not?

Thanks!

Is Al Trautwig, the Sports Archaeologist, the curator?

Ha!

As for the museum. I've never been, and to be honest have no plans to. Considering the other world-class museums in the city are virtually free.

That being said, I've heard from people who have been that it's cool.

I haven't been there yet although I hear it's outstanding. My problem is that apparently it's $27 bucks for 90 minutes. I'm the type of person who goes to a museum and has to see everything, so that wouldn't work for me. But if you can breeze through, go for it.

As it was mentioned though, there are tons of other museums that you should check out while you are in town as well.
