6th Overal Pick - Who WILL the Blue Jackets Choose?

Hey guys, Canucks fan here - I'm interested in seeing who may or may not be available a few picks down in the draft here, and I figure the leased biased mock draft I'd be able to put together to determine that would involve input from the fans of the teams making the picks. Here is what I have so far:

1st (no poll, just assumed) - Steven Stamkos
2nd - Drew Doughty
3rd - Zach Bogosian
4th - Alex Pietrangelo
5th - Nikita Filatov

You guys are next. Given that the above players have been selected, who do you think Columbus management selects 6th overall?

I'll go through and count the 'other' votes before the end of the poll.

Thanks!

edit: ahh the misspelled thread title - fantastic.

If I'm the Columbus management? Simple, I bust the phones to move up and draft Filatov..

Seriously, hands down-Luke Schenn, and then I just sit back and watch him shut down Zetterberg for 6 gmes this coming season...

Yup, if Filatov's gone that probably means Schenn is available. At that point, it's a no brainer if we don't trade the pick.

I picked Schenn, assuming we keep the pick and both Filatov and Schenn are gone, Mikkel Boedker is the pick IMO.

Two things:

1.) No WAY Filatov falls that far.
2.) Columbus shouldn't have any second thoughts about picking Schenn at 8th. Not only is he BPA, he's a future top four defenseman. You have to build your team from the back out, and if Howson realizes that, then this is the pick he'll make.

As a side note, I believe the BJs have the 19th pick (since Colorado made the playoffs, which was the condition on their first rounder in the Foote trade). I had you guys drafting Beach, whom I expect to free-fall on draft day. Any thoughts?

Yeah you guys (or whoever drafts 6th) are in a pretty easy spot in terms of decision-making - unless one of the first six teams goes off the board there is a set-in-stone group at the top six of the draft, then another three, then things really open up.
