HNIC Songs been saved; Lets Save the Goal Song!

Now that the Hockey Night Theme song has been saved, it's time to save the one other song that's important to me as a Habs Fan.

If we could get this back, my hockey life next yr would be complete. I get the Hockey Song on all 82 broadcasts on RDS, plus I get to hear this everytime the Habs score!

BRING IT BACK!

In case YT link doesnt work - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfTpG...eature=related

I agree, we need this back. Slowly but surely though, Vertigo is starting to grow on me.

I'll never get tired of that song. I love it to death, so imagine if we could actually hear it now that we have a decent team.

How many years of U2 has it been? 3? It still doesn't fit as a goal song.

I'd rather listen to Tiny Tim singing Tip Toe Through the Tulips than go back to the "oohhhhhhh" song. It cannot be described without being politically incorrect. It is such a lame repetitive techno song.

DON"T bring it back. Bury it under several tons of concrete

I agree, it never gets old. Im not sure if its been 2 or 3 years now.. but Im still not a fan. Just doesn't fit. I'd rather have the Venga Boys playing than Vertigo lol

I think the reason they used Vertigo is because the Vertigo tour literally brought the house down when they came to Montreal. Was one of the best crowds U2 ever played to according to The Edge. I'm sure lots of people from the Habs organization went to the concerts as well and then decided to use that song.
