Christopher Heino-Lindberg (born January 29, 1985, Helsingborg, Sweden) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. He is recently signed for AIK after leaving Färjestads BK in April 2008.
(in other words, fugget-about-him...)
In his first season, 2005/06, with Färjestad he and the team won Swedish Championship. Heino-Lindberg is currently a Montreal Canadiens prospect, having been drafted by them. He was drafted in 2003 NHL Entry Draft in 6th round as the 177th pick overall.
any one had information on him because thy all say we need a goaler and what about vadim tarasov do thy still belong to us and how are thy doing
We don't have the rights to either Heino or Tarasov. Both seem to be doing ok from what I've heard, haven't seen them play in a while but I try and keep track of them when possible.

We need a couple goalies. I'd like to see Gainey sign a solid AHL vet to be the starter in Hamilton, and to invite one or two CHL overagers or NCAA FA's and sign one to play in Cincy of the ECHL next year, and I'd like to see us draft a goalie this draft or next.
you no any over age goaler thats good from canadain ligue
Perhaps J-C Blanchard comes to mind. Perhaps Bobby Nadeau although I havent seen too much of him. I like Jean-Philippe Lamoureux but no clue who he will sign with this summer. Peter Mannino also comes to mind.
I wouldn't mind if we reacquired Leighton as our AHL/third string goalie. He had a good season last year and would come cheap. No assets involved either.
I'd draft Allen in the third round if he's still there. He might be a steal.
In all honesty I see Montreal trading Halak and getting a player in return and signing a vet to back Price up like a Kolzig/Joseph type.
We will either sign a AHLer to be in Hamilton or get a loaner from another club who doesn't have their own team.
That wouldn't help us. We'd still be low on goalies.
Conkiln, or Sabourin are FA's for Pittsburgh I believe, so they're going to let that one go more than likely. Though, makes you wonder if Sabourin wants more, or not. Was a backup to Luongo, then went into that mess in Pittsburgh.
St. Louis and LA have crappy goalies floating around, maybe we could trade a prospect that we have for a goalie they have that isn't going to do much either.
I wouldn't be surprised about Kolzig... Wasn't he Price mentor in Tri-City?
When I heard Huet to Washington, I was sure we were getting Kolzig. It made a lot of sense..
Well.
Kolzigs son is autistic and he claims he won't leave Washington because of the care his son gets there... it is fantastic and autistic children don't handle change well.

i haven;t seen him for a while. He reminded me of fred brathwaite when I saw him. He's pretty damn athletic and agile but he looks like a midget in net.... he may grown since I saw him though

To be quite honest, I want Gainey to focus all his energy on signing A.Kost and UFA/Trades. Desjardins is still pretty good and Danis hasn't moved yet.
Signing an AHL goalie is not the priority now. There's 2weeks before UFA market hits and AK becomes eligible to some offer sheets.
