Where did he say it? You need to provide a source.

I think he was talking about it during this presser. I'm watching and I'm not watching....I can't verify.

edit: I went back through some of the TiVo....I can't even verify what I said.

Nope. He told Fletcher he would waive his NTC a day before the deadline for SJ and got cold feet that night after the game and renegged.

And yes it was said in the press conference.

He said that if he got Kubina on the Sharks then he probably wouldn't have been at the press conference today.

Take that, Brian Campbell.

And if the Sharks had a better coach then Wilson, they would have made it to the Stanley Cup finals instead of losing in the second round again.

So much for grouding the team....Wilson further proves that he is in fact a *********...

Pavel "Lidstrom" Kubina, could have changed the playoffs entirely...

Give me a break...

If he stays four years then that means things are going well. Here's to it happening.

Don't apply logic to MLSE.

Wow, lost a lot of respect for the guy if he actually said that. Team full of talent but it's not Wilson's fault for getting knocked out.

What about Brian Campbell? He left the Sabres because of money but didn't play like he deserved it when the Sharks needed him most.

Ron Wilson is a tool, if these rumors about the names he put on the srwing board in the Sharks locker are true then he should go back to junior.

So Wilson had Thornton, Marleau, Cheechoo, Michalek, Grier, J.R, Rivet, Carle, Nabokov and others but somehow it was Campbells fault?

Lets see what he can do with Leafs.

While a lot of those players could've played better, there were times where Campbell looked horrible

He'll fail to win a game with the Leafs. That's how bad Toronto really is.

It is against NHL rules for head coach to make changes during the game.

I don't see much of San Jose considering I'm on the east coast, so I won't comment on what he did, or didn't accomplish. However, to leave an organization and then throw out a cheap shot and single out a player like he did with Campbell is just childish. Does he really think Kubina would have been a significant upgrade over Campbell?

I wonder what he'll have to say to the Toronto brass considering they're rumored to still be shopping Kubina as far as I know.

Beautiful. It's gonna be a lot of fun watching Wilson deal with the Toronto media.
