Most Underated Ranger

Pat Verbeek....dunno if he was MOST underated, but I've actualy fouight with people that he actualy WAS a ranger. So for that reason he gets my vote. Also he had 97 points in 88 games as a ranger.

New York Rangers traded Glen Featherstone, Michael Stewart, 1st round selection ( Jean-Sebastien Giguere) in 1995 and 4th round selection (Steve Wasylko) in 1996 to the Hartford Whalers for Pat Verbeek

funny other than Jean Sebastien Gigure, none of those players did anything.

yeah, Verbeek played super for us, it's a shame he left after the '96 season. Which reminds me of that horrendous trade Smith made, sending off Norstrom (oh, and ALSO Ferraro, who played well for us, LaFayette, and Laperierre) for McSorley, Kurri, and Churla. One of the worst we've ever made, IMO...

Awards:
In his limited time here Ray Ferraro was very good. Doug Lidster.

In some ways I feel that Ron Greschner is underrated.

i agree, although i did not like lidster for some reason. i did like john maclean, he actually did pretty well as a ranger. 98-99 82 28 27 55 46
1999-00 New York Rangers NHL 77 18 24 42 52. granted not great stats but on a non playoff team its decent.
