NHL size netting

I've been searching various sites (& HF boards) for a 5mm 4x6 net. If they are not cheap ($50 or less) does anyone know a good place to order from? Basically I'm sick of chasing pucks when they go straight through my current net I'm also wondering what the smallest netting "thread thickness" would be to handle pucks. Thank you in advance if anyone who can help.

It would depend on what goal frame you have. Not all nets will fit every frame. What your looking for would be a #565 nylon woven knotless that has been UV treated. Many cheaper nets will withstand the shooting but after a while of being exposed to sunlight, they lose strength rapidly.

What goal frame do you have?

It's homemade out of 2" Schedule 40 ABS pipe... 6 x 4 in the front, but i can't remember the depth right now and it does not have any 'top shelf' in the top corners. I may just go with one I found by Franklin made for full size nets for $44.99

You can purchase one to "dress" your frames for 74.00 each and do it once every 10years or buy the franklins about every second season...
