Pens shopping Malkin?
The Penguins have reportedly made re-signing Marian Hossa their top priority. So, where does that leave Evgeni Malkin? The Hart finalist may be on the block.
Larry Brooks mentioned how they might have to trade Malkin in order to fit everyone under the cap if they decided to re-up Hossa. Foolish move by the Pens, if you ask me, as I'd rather have Malkin than Hossa. I'd give up multiple first rounders and anybody they wanted really (besides Staal) for this kid. I usually try to avoid making these kind of posts cause they're often unrealistic (the made up trade proposal threads are the WORST), but this is actually more plausible; so, if he's really on the block, what would you guys give up to get him?
