That's probably about right. Even though his dad was one of the best defensive forwards ever, Gainey just doesn't have much or any NHL talent.

Teams want him. He's been claimed off waivers by a few teams in the past 2 years. We just kept claiming him.

Teams want Siklenka? Why did we give him up for Gainey then? How did we keep him if teams claimed him off waivers? Why are the waiver rules so bizzare?

He's an AHLer and he'll probably only get called up for injuries. That and they probably wanted a call-up who will know Hitch's system. I highly doubt this will have any effect on the Flyer's roster.
