OT: Glenn Healy, NOT WITH TSN ANYMORE

Seriously this just epically made my day.

Quote:
He has been among the best game analysts in hockey. For the past three seasons, he worked with TSN announcer Chris Cuthbert.
What did they use his mom as a source, NO ONE thought this.

Who said anybody from Toronto liked Glenn Healy? He was a terrible goaltender for us, and a terrible colour commentator to boot.

My thoughts exactly. There is not a hockey personality that I dislike more than Healy, and it's not even close.

Hopefully Pierre Maguire is next, leaving for a "high ranking post" for Dion Phaneuf.

Ding Dong the Wicked Witch Is Dead!!!

No surprise that Healy moves to work with NHLPA...he was their schill man all during the lockout!! Glad to see him go.

Some poster suggested Mcguire needs to go next but I am in complete disagreement - while he is somewhat irritating to listen to (not unlike Cherry) he usually bang on!!

Healy? Irritating and almost always wrong.

Healy was just a gigantic ***hole.

Good riddance. I hope I never see him on TV again.

I guess its true that shilling hard for the union during the lockout ends up helping a guy get another job in the end.

I still hope he takes the shot to the 'nads that Thoreson took so that someone somewhere can question his manhood for not getting back up.

I wasn't a big Healy fan, but he is a mole hill compared to the mountian of crap that is Pierre.

Sweet now all they need to do is pry Craig Simpson out of the evil clutches of the CBC and he can reunite with Cuthbert to form the best play-by-bly/colour combo outside of Quinn/Ferraro!

My vote is for Nick Kypreos

Please, please let him follow in Healy's footsteps. That would be like TV hockey Christmas. That would renew my faith in mankind. It would probably coincide with an announcement that the ozone layer has been magically repaired and that the price of gasoline is dropping to a quarter a litre.

Pierre McGuire's a creep. He bashes on kids because he's not a fan of them and then salivates all over the ones he is. But he knows hockey. He knows what he's talking about, and as tiresome and overstated as he can be, he's mostly a solid color-guy and analyst.

Glen Healey has no positives. None. He's an idiot who doesn't know the game he played (or watched from the bench) professionally for 15 years . He's an annoying, biased, pointless, vacuous waste of oxygen and he's the worst thing I've ever seen in terms of sports analysts ever in the history of me watching sports. Ever.

Healey going is the shiz-nit.
