hmmmmmmmm. he does not like putting a E4 on his bs rumours so i am thinking there could be some validity to this although i would not put money on it thats for sure. SOOOOOOOOO lets think on why this would make sense for the OIL. Cammy is good but his trade value is not where it should be due to his performance last year and his knack to play hardball when its contract time. My conclussion is that PITS>Cammy so what could LA have that would make it doable well how about there first round pick not that pick guys the one they got from Dallas the 28th overall. Kill two birds with the same stone, We want picks and we want extra scoring Sounds good to me. My lines with this trade.

Hemsky-Horcoff-Cammilari
Nilsson-Gagner-Penner
Pisani-Cogliano-Moreau
Stortini-Brodziak-Torres-Glencross-Pouliot

Do not see size being an issue if we split up Hemmer, Horc, and Penner. + we have two picks in the first round.

There is no way the Kings will trade Cammalleri (80-point scorer) and the 2nd overall pick for Pitkanen. Chances are that 2nd overall (Doughty, Bogosian) will be better than Pitkanen and less of a headcase too.
Hey he just lacks personality he is not a headcase. And i am 100% sure that second overall pick is staying in LA so chill out dude.

I could think of a hell of alot more players then who you have said here that I would want! Jack Johnson, Frolov, O'Sullivan, Bernier

Cammalleri would look very nice on the second line taking most of the draws and with Cogliano increasing his defensive responsibilities at center. We could then try out Torres-Stoll-Nilson once again to see if there is chemistry, or try to unload Torres & Pouliot for Boyle.

I am excited to see what Cogliano will do this year on the PK.

I'd be down with that, but I highly doubt LA would.

I think Eklund makes this rumor because just about everyone will agree Cammilari is not worth Pitkanen in a straight across deal. I believe the vast majority of King's fans would attest to this as well. So the trade becomes interesting because something would have to be added.

What???

A late first, a couple of seconds; wait, perhaps we could speculate a multi player deal...

Eklund's average may be 1 for a thousand, but give him his props, we all know his rumors seldom come to fruition, yet he does cause a stir every time he mentions a possible move.

Two years ago, maybe. But do we honestly trade for this guy with Gagner and Cogliano already on the team?

When message boards cease to exist... that way Eklund won't have any sources.

The size issue is overblown i think the Oilers want to be fast and mobile. Thats why penner was whipped into shape last year because he just was not fast enough tell latter on in the season. The NHL is changing big is slow small is fast hence the lack of big forwards in the draft this year. Cammy would make us better at being fast and mobile and he can put the puck in the net which isn't a bad thing.

Besides, the Kings ARE NOT trading their #2. Our defensive depth is pathetic. There is a good chance we trade Dallas's #1, but #2 overall will be defenseman for the Kings. Dont want ya to get yer hopes up.
Don't worry, they aren't. We all know that Eklund if full of **** 100% of the time.

Are you saying he is slow? I know he is not the fastest guy but he is not slow. From what i have seen he scores goals on one timers or he darts to the front of the net getting rebounds and deflections. Maybe its just me.

Cammy to Edmonton, for the millionth time, makes absolutely no sense.

Frolov does.

Brown would, except he's not going anywhere.

Or maybe it's just the fact that he's small. Little guys usually look quicker than they are.

Unfortunately, with Frolov's contract I doubt he's going anywhere either

What would Torres, Greene, and Roloson get from LA?

If its nothing useful that's okay, but I would think those guys would be of some use.

If Pitkanen is going to get traded one of the last players I want back is Cammi.

How about...

for
Brian Boyle

ROFL yeah that's a good one. The Kings should take a cone if its offered to them to put in nets. Trust me Roli will be a blessing for the Kings.
