I love the Canucks and I want Naslund OUT, he doesnt look to be putting any effort into his shifts and really isnt finding his touch without bert. I would love to see him play in Pittsburg, getting rid of Naslund is ultimately what will change the Canucks the most, new captain, gain a good chunk of cap space to work with, and hopefully sign a big FA like Hossa, but it probably wont happen
Although I think it would be time for another person to wear the C, I wouldn't mind Nazzy back at a discount price. We are trying to bring more offense to this team and if we manage to sign the likes of Hossa and Demitra, or Ryder, then perhaps Nazzy would see this as an opportunity to stay in Vancouver and reproduce his old ways. Based off a few shifts at the end of the year, I think he has it in him to get back to a PPG clip with the right linemates and some space. His wristshot might not come back to its former glory, but if it can show itself to be decent then he can score when the opportunity arises.

I think they're gearing up Kesler for the job if he wants it.
I would have thought he was too much into his "pest" role that they wouldn't give him the C quite yet. I would hate for Kesler to become more reserved just because he got a C on his chest.
