TORONTO - Our Kingdom For A Goalie!

Anyone wanna make any offers to send a *serviceable* netminder over to Toronto in case Belfour's back keeps acting up? We can't take Trevor Kidd anymore and Tellqvist is not the answer this year.

We're not looking for Kolzig or Khabibulin...Belfour will probably be back in a week or so, but back injuries never go away and we need an insurance policy.

Any offers?

Potvin would actually be ideal, if Boston would stupidly trade him to a divisional rival in need of a goalie in a big way.

Not a bad trade if you're Kevin Lowe. If you're John Ferguson Jr. you get shot on your way home.

Man, do I ever love looking at the scoreboard and seeing the leafs lose.

No wonder Kidd was complaining about the goalie pads. He can't stop a puck with his 12" pads, how's he going to do it with 10" pads?

having watched the leafs\bruins game tonight...

you guys are looking for the wrong stuff. you need a defenseman, not a goalie. granted they weren't the toughest shots in the world, but kidd shouldn't even have faced them. there were some SERIOUS breakdowns, especially on the part of klee and berehowsky.

Yes, we need a defenceman.

Got any available?

Regardless of the shoddy D, the Leafs cannot go into the playoffs with Kidd as insurance in case Belfour's back acts up. Backs are wonky and never really "heal"...I know my back aches all the time, and I'm 23!

Seen any lately? I haven't. (clean hits on star players)
