They're terrible. Hartley is notorious for putting his goons out with a few minutes remaining in a game in order to do nothing more than pick fights. I wish Peters was in the lineup because Jeff Cowan needs a fist right in the face.

Cowan's a peice of garbage. All he's doing is throwing cheap shots because he knows Mair would probably bury him in a fight.

Oh hellz yeah.. 4-zippo..

What is wrong with this team? Not only are they finding ways to win but they are scoring in bunches. I think they've had enough of those 1 goal losses earlier in the season and now they actually believe they can score if they want to.

This is exciting.. if they keep this up.. we could find ourselves in a playoff position in no time!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! lol

Cowan is a pretty tough kid, but he doesn't play an honorably tough game. How many times has he been the third man in on minor altercations tonight? And I keep hearing the name "Simon". I hope that's my good buddy Slew Foot Simon.

What I find most fascinating is that's it's not just one player. Briere, Hecht, Afinogenov, Kotalik, Drury, Dumont and Satan are all burying the puck. When every member of your top six, and a guy on your third line, are consistently putting the biscuit in the net, that's huge.

4-0 near the end of the second period. Looks like 4 points behind the Habs and Isles. Assuming we win today, we now control our destiny with the Isles as well as the Habs - in effect, we control our destiny for 7th place.

That's him. Ben=Slew Foot. During the game last year where Buffalo came back in the last 12 minutes of the third with 4 goals in a row to beat Atlanta, Simon and Mair got into a scrum. Then Simon kicked his skates out from underneath him and fell on him with punches.

Sabres are rollin'.. rollin'.. rollin'

This is a lot of fun. And you're right Rhett.. it isn't like it's all Satan or Briere. Everyone is contributing. Kotalik is over his little slump. Afino is playing harder and being rewarded. Briere is all over the place, solid captain! Delmore SCORED for crying out loud. That's what I'm talking about!!

GO SABRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I have to go tromp off to learn about early modern Ireland for an hour and half. There's nothing like missing a period of hockey in the name of higher education...bah.

Let's go Sabres!

Headphones. Put the cord under your shirt and only use one of the ear pieces. Trust me I did it a bunch of times during the last few years. Just make sure you sit in the back and whatnot .

I hate not being able to watch it when we're kicking ass. I mean if we were losing.. I wouldn't mind so much.. lol

The playoff race is so much more exciting this year. Last year we were out of it by Christmas and even with our second half run.. that just wasn't enough. This year we've stayed relatively close and there is hope. Weeeeeeeeee!

Don't forget to buy one for Wednesday. We really need to bring up those weekday game attendance figures. :p

You know I'm really glad to see that people didn't over-react too much after that loss to Boston.

Very impressive folks. Looking forward to huge, huge playoff type games head to head. Please do me a favor and cool off just a little bit before then.
