Yea but Cloutier would have been a good 7th round pick.

7th rounder doesnt mean much but when a supposed 2-4th rounder in Reddick is sitting there and we pass on him for what looks to be a nothing pick, you gotta wonder.

There was obviously something specific about him that was making teams pass(maybe size?). If there's some 'fatal flaw' that scouts think will hold him back from being an NHLer they won't bother drafting a player.

That's kind of my point. If we're going to complain about picking Clark don't complain because someone else is on the table but noone picked him. It's obvious that something about Reddick scared teams away.

I think it's much more likely that Schneider backs up Luongo next year, than being dealt because the Canucks drafted the goalie coach's kid in the 7th round.
