Who will score the goals?

Who?

We had the best D in our division and worst forward crop and now we decrease our scoring ability.

Just hoping someone can give me some stats to prove I'm wrong so I don't have to worry about losing 80% of our games.

Don't worry Keith Ballard is a #1 defenseman and will score 30 goals!

Think of it as we are turning more and more into New Jersey's style of play. We will have good defense, good goaltending, but average offense.

What? Who?

Besides B-W-H the only other second liner is McClean, maybe.

Zednik, Olesz, Stumpel(if he returns but doubt it).

Ok theres a line of Olesz-McLEAN-Zednik.
Then Dvorak-Kreps-Stumpel
Then Kilger/Belak-Campbell-Stewart or anyone who wants to be there.

Thats if no one wants Matthias or Frolik up.

OMG I spelled his name wrong!!@R!@$302s;lfk-2

Zednik sucks and is a huge question mark.
Stumpel is at best a third liner. Stumpel needs a player like Jokinen to be productive.

If Frolik is Ready:

Booth-Weiss-Horton
Olesz-Matthias-Frolik
Zednik-Kreps-McLean
Belak/Kilger-Campbell-Dvorak
Peltonen and Stumpel are not needed.

Ballard-Bouwmeester
Skrastins-Van Ryn
Allen-Welch
Boynton
Murphy is not needed, nor any of our UFA's or RFA's.

If Frolik is not ready:

Booth-Weiss-Horton
Olesz-Matthias-McLean
Zednik-Kreps-Stumpel
Belak/Kilger-Campbell-Dvorak

No, he wants you to list who is a first liner, who is a second liner, etc.

I will start the list...

First liner - N/A

Also, Ballard is a second pairing guy but I guess we can put him with Jaybo as not to make this trade look truly horrendous.

First liner - Horton, Maybe Weiss (depends on how much he developed)

Second Liner - Weiss (if not up there), Olesz, McLean, Stumpel (if he does like he did before last year), Zednik,

Third Liners - Matthias, Frolik(will be in AHL i believe), Dvorak, Kreps, Peltonen(same as stumpy),

Fourth Liners - Kilger, Campbell(who had a career year last year), Belak, Stewart, Globke, Meyer. In decending order lol I don't want Globke and Meyer playing.

[QUOTE=hoax15;14512261]First liner -
Quote:
Horton, Maybe Weiss (depends on how much he developed)
Horton - the most inconsistent player on our team and you have him as a first line
Weiss - would you like to compare him to other teams first line centers and rethink this one?

Second Liner -
Quote:
Weiss (if not up there), Olesz, McLean, Stumpel (if he does like he did before last year), Zednik,
Olesz - I'm sorry he's proven what exactly to be considered a second liner?
McLean - love the guy, but you think he is a second liner - wow
Stumpel - you mean the guy who is going to get bought out because of how bad he stunk last year?
Zednik - went 30+ games with only one goal

Quote:
Third Liners - Matthias, Frolik(will be in AHL i believe), Dvorak, Kreps, Peltonen(same as stumpy),
no arguments here

Quote:
Fourth Liners - Kilger, Campbell(who had a career year last year), Belak, Stewart, Globke, Meyer. In decending order lol I don't want Globke and Meyer playing
And with this team you think we have a good offense. Oh my!!!

Never said we had good offense, i wish we signed a UFA or two, but its what we have right now before free agency. Just wait till after Free Agency, then yell at me.

My honest evaluation of the Florida forwards without pulling your leg. Not counting Future Potential meaning specifically Olesz.

First Liner-Horton
Second Liner-Weiss, Booth
Third Liner-Olesz, Stumpel, McLean, Zednik, Kreps, Kilger
Fourth Liner-Campbell, Dvorak, Peltonen, Belak
Need Time to Develop in Rochester-Matthias,Frolik
Strictly Rochester Talent-Stewart, Globke, Meyer

Why is everyone forgetting Booth?

Did Jacques just trade him for another Dman?

Pretty on the money, including Olesz being able to move up.

Until I see how Booth performs this coming year, I still consider last year to be a fluke. He was just playing too far ahead of expected.

Even with a repeat of last year, Booth's not a 1st liner... With proper coaching/training this off-season, I can see Horton/Weiss moving to the top line with a UFA/trade winger...

My expectations for goal totals for 08-09:

Horton 30-35 (hoping for 40)
Booth 20-25 (hoping for 30)
Olesz 20-25 (can achieve 30 if he plays at least 75 games)
Weiss 15-20 (should rack up the assists)
Zednik 10-15 (could go either way, tough to call)
McLean 10-15
J-Bo 10-15
Ballard 10-15
Kreps 10-15
Matthias 10-20 (tough to speculate) - he'll score 41 if he keeps up the .5 goals per game, lol
Frolik 10-20 (tough to speculate considering he may spend time in AHL)

Peltonen/Stumpel/Campbell/Dvorak - any help is much appreciated

Can this get us into the playoffs??? I guess only time will tell...

My original thoughts are that there is going to be A TON of pressure on Horton, so I guess we'll have to see how he responds..

Campbell can get 10-15, Stumpel can get 10-15, Peltonen can get 10 maybe, Dvorak can get 10-15.
